"Floor A" Wayfinding
In this project, I developed a wayfinding concept idea for Floor A of the Suffolk University Art & Design building. I chose materials, a color pallet, and a unifying font to design large graphics and wayfinding signage around the floor.

Concept: Spirited Vectors & Windows
ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM
EXISTING CONDITIONS

Windows and the horizontal wall space above doors is bare on Floor A. With the objective of creating a visually pleasant and comprehensible wayfinding system, bare surfaces should be used to allow for more signage and graphics. Signage visible from the hallway, frosted windows with room identification, playful vector line illustrations and art and design motifs, small pops of bright color, and new wooden lockers will enliven Floor A, allow people to navigate it easily, and connect students and faculty to the function of Floor A as a space for them - reflective of their identity as practical, hands-on creatives.
